ABOUT ME
Emiline's the name, Opining is the game.
This is the space designated to introduce myself to you, to let you, Random Reader, know a little bit about me and what you'll find on this site.
Problem is, I don't have a clue.
I mean, I have a clue. I'm a millennial, raised on the internet. I have thoughts on a variety of subjects, some important, most decidedly less so. I'm socially maladroit, so instead of divulging these thoughts to IRL people, I find myself more apt at shouting my thoughts into the void of the interwebs. But what those thoughts will look like, what topics I'll cover, what kind of coverage those undetermined topics will receive - I really haven't the foggiest.
I'll probably talk about books and movies. I'm a narrative junkie, after all. I'm going to try to be funny, because like Elizabeth Bennet, I dearly love to laugh. I might do an advice column, but a totally useless one - I'm talking as-seen-on-TV-product level of worthless. There will probably be rants, because I love to freak out over everyday life's little inanities.
As to why you should listen to me? Because I'm an amazing salesperson with a keen ability to pitch my brand. Obviously. And because I have decent taste and a unique perspective. Sometimes.
